Today I did my first official fashion show in honor of the sisters of the AKA sorority and their 25th anniversary! Check out this chic and comfortable black dress. I wore this piece during the Eileen Fisher segment of the show. It's a knee-length surplice dress in stretch silk jersey. I paired it with a pair of black leggings and silver flats I snatched up from Old Navy. i felt super confident in my silk dress. Did you hear me? I said silk! Too bad I didn't get to keep the clothes but it was still a blast.

I know you must be thinking "This girl must have NO life!" and if you are...then you're right...somewhat. I do have a lot of time on my hands, therefore in my spare time I like to practice my writing skills so that one day someone will be paying me to do this. I love to laugh, live everyday like it’s my last, love I’m not so lucky with. As far as my political and religious views go...lets just say that I have my own. I am an eighteen-year-old writer with ginormous dreams of becoming an editor at a top-notch magazine like Cosmopolitan, who in the meantime dedicates my free time to humoring you with stories from my life through this blog.
